James Ewell Brown Stuart was another famous and useful Confederate general during the Civil War. His nickname was Jeb Stuart because of the initials in his name. He was mainly known for being a cavalry commander. He was very good at creating offensive maneuvers which were help all throughout the war. He played other important roles in history as well such as Bleeding Kansas and the capture of John Brown when he raided Harpers Ferry. He was also in the First Battle of Bull Run, Battle of Fredericksburg, Battle of Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, and the Overland Campaign.
